Why is my brand called The Ink Catalog?

If you’ve ever wondered where the name The Ink Catalog came from, you’re not alone!

I’ve always been obsessed with ink—literal and metaphorical.
Ink is the basis of how I think. How I communicate. How I connect.

As a copywriter, I write for businesses that want their voice to feel human. As an illustrator, I create small, tangible things—postcards, affirmation cards, ideas you can hold in your hands! And in both roles, I rely on ink to bring ideas to life.

So when it came to naming my creative business, I wanted something that reflected this duality. “The Ink Catalog” felt right. It sounded like a collection—of thoughts, feelings, and visuals. And it paid homage to memorykeeping and posterity, which are ideas that give me a lot of peace. I am a hoarder, whether it’s of memories, quotes, or even ideas. It gave me room to grow. And it was a quiet little wink to both sides of my work.

The Ink Catalog—where words meet illustrations

The copywriter and the illustrator.
The thinker and the doodler.
All held together in one messy, meaningful catalog!

Today, The Ink Catalog is home to hand-painted affirmation cards, silly (but sincere) postcards, and a growing archive of things I never thought I’d have the courage to share. I like to think of it as part art project, part paper hug.

Thanks for stopping by, and I’m so glad you’re here!
