Between the Pages

A journaling workshop for people who love books.

What does your bookshelf say about you? Which fictional character would you actually be friends with?
And which book will you never stop recommending?

90 minutes · 5–15 readers · English

€150 facilitation + €5 per person for materials

We all have those books.

  • The book you recommend to everyone.

  • The book you wish you could read again for the first time.

  • The character you still think about.

  • The book you bought because the cover was gorgeous and haven't actually read yet.

Between the Pages is a playful journaling workshop about our lives as readers.

We'll use books, characters, reading memories, favourite sentences, and bookshelves as a way to unwind, have fun conversations, and perhaps a little bit of self-discovery!

You don't need to be a serious journaler.

You just need to like books.

What we'll get up to

  • Your reading personality
What kind of reader are you, really?

  • The book I'll never shut up about
What's the story you could recommend in your sleep — and why?

  • Would you be friends?
Which fictional character would make an excellent real-life friend? And which one absolutely would not?

  • Your bookshelf tells on you
A playful look at what our collections say about us.

  • Write between the pages
A creative writing exercise inspired by a favourite book, character or reading memory.

  • Your ideal reading life
Not a reading challenge. Not a target number. Just: what would you like reading to feel like?

Who is it for?

Readers who want to do something a little different with their love of books.

You might be:

  • a lifelong reader

  • someone rediscovering reading

  • a person with a TBR pile that has become mildly concerning

  • a book-club regular

  • someone who just likes talking about books

No journaling or creative-writing experience required.

About Anwesha

Hi, I'm Anwesha!

Ten years ago, when I was going through a difficult period in my life, journaling became a small but important way for me to find my way back to myself. I’ve been in love with words, books, journaling and everyday creativity ever since.

These workshops are my way of sharing that love with others and of making a little more room for curiosity, creativity and a spark of the analog in our increasingly digital lives.
